Peanuts
Our sustainable peanut production leverages the peanut plant's inherent characteristics to minimize environmental impact. As a legume, peanuts are "nitrogen-fixing," meaning they naturally enrich the soil and reduce the need for synthetic fertilizers. This not only cuts down on production costs but also lowers the carbon footprint of farming. Furthermore, peanuts are highly drought-tolerant and require significantly less water than many other nuts. Our farmers employ sustainable practices like crop rotation to manage pests and diseases, and they use every part of the plant—from the shells for animal feed to the "hay" for livestock bedding—making it a zero-waste crop.
